About Me

A Golf Blog has been something I have been mulling over for quite some time now. I’m happily obsessed with this game and therefore am constantly seeking stimulation to curb my cravings when not on the fairways.

Reading and watching course reviews are some of my favourite things to do and over the last few years, my love and appreciation for golf course architecture has grown inexplicably. At 27, I know I am unbelievably fortunate to have played many of this country’s best courses.

Throughout school and university, I was a member of the Golf Team and even founded and presided over the University of the West of England Golf Club. These positions afforded me countless opportunities to play brilliant courses and meet great people along the way.

I have now turned my passion into my career and am Golf Manager of Pyrford Lakes Golf Club in Surrey. I couldn’t be happier and I am glad to have made the career change at a time in my life when I can give it my all.

Surrey Golfer will review those golf courses I have played within Top100GolfCourse.com In addition to these reviews, I hope to express my stance on golf current affairs and other matters I deem worthy of my commentary.

The pursuit is to play at England’s Top 100 Golf Courses before the age of 30. With a young family and a full-time job this will be interesting, but I believe achievable – Wish me luck!
